WINTER STORM WARNING! Increased Snowfall Possible!

A WINTER STORM WARNING has now been issued for a portion of the region tonight, with increased sleet/snowfall totals being expected by the National Weather Service in Paducah.

It appears the heaviest snowfall totals now could range from 2 to 5 inches along the counties closer to the Ohio River.  Elsewhere, 1 to 3 inches is possible with most receiving 2 inches or less. Changeover to snow should occur tonight as low pressure passes to our southeast, and a cold front approaches from the northwest.

Of course, snowfall totals can vary, even over short distances, so stay tuned to updates!
