While we still don't know exactly how much we'll get of what next week (Tue-Wed), we DO know we're going to get a LOT of PRECIPITATION.
There's going to be a lot of moisture available. Liquid wise, it could be up to 2 inches, but in this event, Monday night through Wednesday, it could be in several forms. Rain of course, and then also in freezing rain, sleet and snow. If a lot of that comes in snow it could be a very heavy snow of many inches BUT, we know part of it IS going to be rain. How much in this event? Still early to tell.
That means we could get a huge snowfall, OR we could be a lot of rain and now much snow. We could also see a lot of this precipitation as ice and rain or.... well you get it.
The main thing is to stay abreast of the situation and be prepared. We'll know a lot more about what's going to happen as we get closer!
