The key word here is LIGHT! Its HIGHLY PROBABLE that snow accumulations in our region will be VERY LITTLE IF ANY AT ALL. LESS THAN AN INCH of snow, and in fact for most of us, less than a half inch, if that. So snow should'nt be much of a problem. The only possible problem seems to be a chance of light freezing rain which could cause problems with your Thursday commute, especially in the morning. Best advice: check the weather conditions as you prepare to get out to see if there is any light freezing rain in the area!
As we get on into the day, temperatures will rise above freezing and the winter weather will no longer be a threat.
