It may not be the end of winter just yet, but at least we have some temperatures to look forward to for a change. We could actually see some high temperatures above average by next week! (Average highs this time of year in the upper 40s to near 50, with lows in the mid 30s.
In the meantime, as we watch the unfolding winter storm to our South, we could see some effects of it here as far north as the KenTenn, as Weakley and Henry Counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory with the possibilities of some small amounts of ice and snow by this evening.
We should see high temperatures across the region climb into the 30s today, then the 40s Thursday through Sunday, in fact, Sunday we could see high temperatures approach 50. Next week, we could see high temperatures in the 50s and even approach the 60 degree mark!
Along the way, there is a chance for rain Friday (maybe a tiny bit snow, but mostly rain) and again on Monday, President's Day.
