Risk of Severe Storms Today Through Monday

We'll have a risk of severe storms today, tonight and Monday as a couple of cold fronts approach and move through.  The biggest risks will be fore damaging winds and large hail, along with locally heavy rainfall!
As the first front approaches and moves into the area this afternoon and combines with the heat and humidity, we'll see storms develop and grow in intensity.

This will carry over into Monday as the second front approaches, with large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall possible.  A stray tornado is not out of the question either.

Locally heavy rainfall could approach 2 or 3 inches for some, so flash flooding also becomes a concern.

Your can hear my forecasts each weekday on Newstalk 94.7, 95.5, 570AM and 1320AM, along with The Mix 94.7 and Willie 102.1.  Remember, when the power's out, you can still hear our forecasts and live reports on these stations, too.
