Possible Severe Storms Friday!

We're watching the possibility of Severe Storms this Friday afternoon and evening, with instability ahead of an approaching cold front. The cold front shouldn't make it through our area, but the instability could trigger some severe storms Friday afternoon and night, with the main threat being large hail and high winds.

Rainfall totals during the period Thursday night through Monday night could total up to 1 to 1.5".  We could also seen an additional 1-2 inches locally Monday night through Wednesday night, so be aware of that!

Remember, when the power's out, you can still hear our forecasts and live reports on Newstalk 94.7, 95.5, 570AM and 1320AM, along with The Mix 94.7 and Willie 102.1.
