Mid-South Meteorology: Closings, Cancellations, Conditions This Morning

Rain, freezing rain and a light wintry mix across much of the region this morning. So far, roads are reported to be mostly wet but motorist are advised to watch out for bridges and overpasses. Also, when leaving home be careful on stairs and sidewalks.

Conditions should improve later as temperatures warm to above freezing.

After this event, we'll have rain beginning Sunday, which actually could start as freezing rain before warming by afternoon. The warming trend along with the chance of showers continues through Tuesday night. In fact, Tuesday/Tuesday night, there's a chance we could see some strong storms develop! Stay Tuned!
