Bad Winter Storm, BRUTAL Cold Headed Our Way!

We could be looking at some possible WILD Winter Weather this weekend into next week, with SEVERAL INCHES of snow possible, followed by possibly the coldest weather we've seen in almost 20 years!

Possible Impacts: Severe travel problems Sunday through Wednesday. Possible problems with frozen pipes, wells, car batteries, heating units, danger of hypothermia, frostbite.

An approaching cold front, along with low pressure will set up us for rain and then snowfall Saturday night through Sunday.  It's still a ways off, but computer models at the moment are suggesting 2-4 inches of snow are possible!

Also, Sunday night, FRIGID ARCTIC AIR begins moving in.  We could be seeing high temperatures only in the teens OR COLDER for some of us, and overnight lows in the single digits to even BELOW ZERO.  Wind Chills could drop to as much as 20 BELOW ZERO.

It could very well be the COLDEST air we've had in the area in almost 20 years! We may not get above freezing until late in the week.

Here are some precautions during this frigid outbreak.
